This is the same dog, different x ray machine…..
This is the quality of our new digital X-ray machine. It looks nice, but that isn't why we chose it! It benefits you and your pet!
This state of the art machine provides:
Improved diagnostic capacity with better imaging, enlargement capabilities and computer enhancement
Increased safety - faster exposure time means less stray radiation for pets and our staff
Less exposure because we can get the image we need the first time
Images in six seconds so we can get more information, faster
Better for the environment - no chemicals or film to dispose
Images can be copied to disc or e-mailed for referrals to specialists if necessary
Made by Sedecal Vet-Ray, Sold and Serviced by Stewart X-Ray Co.
The top image was taken of a then six year old dog about two years ago with our old conventional film X-ray machine. If you look closely, you may see a fusion of her spine.
The middle image was with our new Sedecal Vet-Ray Digital Imaging System, taken of the same dog two years later. Note the contrast and detail. We are also able to modify the contrast and zoom in on different portions of the image to emphasize different aspects to give the doctors a complete look for evaluation.

It is a much better tool for our doctors to identify what the picture reveals, especially for the smaller animals who may have tiny little bones.
All this good stuff, and environmentally friendly and safer too!
